This is a **full-time** position with a focus on supporting production activities while conducting quality control release and stability testing. Proficiency in **English** is essential to communicate optimally across our team!
**You will be responsible for:**
+ Carrying out complex testing activities on schedule, maintaining a strong record of first-time accuracy.
+ Reviewing and approving results from colleagues to ensure quality standards.
+ Training team members and continuously improving your own skill set.
+ Collaborating actively with QA and Analytical Development to support team initiatives and project goals.
+ Complete and document new method introduction activities, including gap assessments and method qualifications.
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in **Life Sciences, Molecular Biology** , or a related field.
+ Proven experience with techniques such as **ELISA, cell culturing, binding assays, cell-based bioassays, qPCR, and dPCR is a must.**
+ Strong analytical thinking and technical problem-solving capabilities.
+ Familiarity with **GMP documentation** and experience with systems like **Truvault, eLIMS, and Summit** is a plus.
+ Full proficiency in English Required.

**Job Purpose and Impact**
The Quality Control Supervisor will provide quality control management for Botlek . In this role, you will ensure quality control laboratory performance using quality data combined with a strong product quality expertise.
You will proactively inform the internal partners on quality trends, compliance, and data to enable assuring final product compliance.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Manage the Botlek Laboratory team 13 FTE, including personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports.
+ Responsible of scheduling of recourses to support 5 shift operations.
+ Continuous improvement review opportunities to improve processes and methods to optimize quality and costs.
+ Regular review analysis plan related to crude oils, intermediate and final products.
+ Lead the quality control processes for the Botlek, overseeing the quality procedures and quality data and assure reliability of data including methodology and analysis execution,Using GLC, AAS, GCMS, HPLC, FTIR techniques.
+ Lead routine operational testing of wastewater, incoming materials, in process and final goods, deliver accurate and timely results to enable decision making.
+ Support the production labs to ensure efficient operations and produce corrective action for final products.
+ Review performance of subcontracted external laboratories.
+ Collaborate with FSQR and location professionals on research projects food quality related projects, calibration, and validation of new and improved methods as a team member or as a project lead.
+ Oversee laboratory safety by implementing safety standards, undertaking verification of safety control effectiveness and leading continuous improvement.
+ Develop analytical optimization, develop and implement lead and lag key performance indicators and ensure clear objectives are in place.
+ Manage and support troubleshooting of LIMS and IT systems.
+ Manage Permit to work process related to the laboratory
+ Manage preventive maintenance plan
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
+ Minimum requirement of 1 year relevant work experience.
+ Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
+ Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of analytical techniques such as GLC, AAS, GCMS, HPLC, FTIR techniques
+ Basic knowledge of food safety legislation
+ Auditing experience
+ Knowledge of food safety management systems
+ Five years of supervisory experience

Your work
As a Quality Control Specialist at IQIP, you are responsible for inspecting and verifying that all materials, components, and final assemblies meet strict quality standards before delivery or deployment.
