Jouw specificaties
Afgeronde hbo-opleiding in IT, business management of een vergelijkbaar vakgebied;
3-5 jaar ervaring als Project Manager, bij voorkeur met IT-projecten in een dynamische omgeving;
Kennis van projectmanagementmethodieken (Prince2, Agile, Scrum);
Ervaring met het leiden van zowel technische als organisatiebrede projecten;
Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel Nederlands als Engels;

Epic lifecycle management : Own and drive the refinement of epics, ensuring they are broken down into manageable features. You will oversee the full lifecycle of epics from ideation to execution, aligning them with business needs.
Collaboration and alignment : You will work hand-in-hand with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth alignment and clear communication.
Stakeholder management : As the IT Epic Owner, you will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that dependencies and external tasks are managed effectively.

Education and experience
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
15+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in an agile context, with a proven track record of leading complex IT initiatives;
A technical Education al background (HBO/WO Bachelor level or equivalent), with your years of experience strongly aligned to your level of Education ;
In-depth knowledge of the Agile framework, particularly managing epics and coordinating between teams within ARTs;
Experience working across cross-functional teams and aligning both technical and business stakeholders on common goals;
Expertise in managing external dependencies and collaborating with third-party suppliers to deliver robust business solutions;
A strategic mindset with the ability to connect business needs with technical execution, ensuring successful epic delivery.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the realization of new construction and larger renovation projects within Kuehne+Nagel Benelux. With your knowledge and expertise, you are the linchpin in the collaboration between Kuehne+Nagel, building owners, architects, contractors and subcontractors. You will be asked to work cross-functionally at different levels, communicating with all stakeholders and collaborating parties, while keeping track of the planning and budget of a project.
**How you create impact**
+ Understand construction and MEP systems and sequences and review designs for constructability.
+ Troubleshoot, walk down, and resolve schedule critical issues that arise on the project.
+ Quickly respond to queries and resolve any technical barriers to completion.
+ Work with procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates.
+ Develop communicate and improve upon plans for site logistics and material flow.
+ Interface with engineering team, construction team, contracts, and commissioning teams.
+ Understand building control system devices, wiring, layout, and interface
+ Develop templates and standards for future phases/projects.
+ Enforce and maintain high quality standards for engineering drawings and for field installations by contractors.
**What we would like you to bring**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Construction Management or related fields
+ 4+ years of experience managing the construction of MEP systems for large industrial construction projects in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Refining, Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors or equivalent high-tech facilities.
+ Proven record of driving challenging scopes and project to completion
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive summaries and presentations
+ Ability to read, interpret, and manage changes to tenant improvement drawing packages (Life Safety systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Plumbing and Civil Scopes)
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6 (or Microsoft Projects)
+ Willingness to spend a large percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to complete objectives or find the correct information.
+ Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely demanding timelines.
+ A good knowledge of spoken and written Dutch & English.

**Wat ga je doen?**
Als Senior Construction Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor renovatie- en herontwikkelingsprojecten, van het eerste initiatief tot en met de oplevering en acquireer je zelfstandig opdrachten bij bestaande en nieuwe klanten. De projecten variëren van een kleine verbouwing tot volledige nieuwbouw van bijvoorbeeld kantoren, winkels, hotels of woningen. Als Senior Construction Manager geef je leiding aan verschillende ontwerp- en projectteams van specialisten zoals architecten en installatieadviseurs om tot een prachtig ontwerp te komen en vervul je een coachende rol bij de begeleiding van junioren en medioren in je teams. Tijdens de uitvoering van je projecten vervul je een coördinerende rol en ben je aanspreekpunt voor opdrachtgevers, aannemers en adviseurs. Je zorgt ervoor dat de bouw soepel verloopt; op tijd, volgens het overeengekomen ontwerp en binnen het afgesproken budget.
**Zo ziet jouw gemiddelde werkdag als Senior Construction Manager eruit:**
Het is druk op de weg, dus je begint je dag thuis; lekker ontspannen aan de keukentafel met een goede kop koffie. Nadat je mail is weggewerkt maak je een nieuwe planning voor de herontwikkeling van een grootschalig renovatieproject in Amsterdam. Om 13:00 uur heb je een zoom-afspraak met een potentiële opdrachtgever. Samen met hem kijk je naar waar hij tegenaan loopt met zijn vastgoedportefeuille en ga je na op welke wijze CBRE hem kan ondersteunen bij het vinden van de financieel meest interessante oplossing. Voor het zover is heb je eerst nog een bouwvergadering met de aannemer van een ander project waar jij eindverantwoordelijk voor bent, dus het is belangrijk dat je de feiten kent en de regie voert over het proces.
Na je afspraak met de potentiële opdrachtgever geef je om 14.30 uur een presentatie van het Definitief Ontwerp voor een andere herontwikkelingsopgave aan de directie van een van onze belangrijkste klanten en vraag je hen goedkeuring op het ontwerp en het budget. Aan het einde van de dag kijk je nog even het verslag na van de bouwvergadering dat ondertussen door een van je teamleden is uitgewerkt en stuur je het rond naar de projectteamleden. Voor je afsluit bel je met je opdrachtgever om nog even na te praten over de gegeven presentatie en bespreek je de besluiten die de komende dagen genomen moeten worden.
**Wie ben jij?**
+ Je bent in het bezit van een HBO of WO diploma op het gebied van bouwkunde of een vergelijkbare, technische studie, aangevuld met vakgerichte opleidingen;
+ Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring in het zelfstandig begeleiden en aansturen van complexe nieuwbouw- en/of renovatieprojecten;
+ Je hebt een uitgebreid netwerk opgebouwd in de bouwwereld, bestaande uit vastgoedeigenaren, aannemers, architecten en adviseurs;
+ Je kunt effectief schakelen tussen de vereiste niveaus van programma, project- en procesmanagement;
+ Je bent doelgericht, pragmatisch ingesteld, kwaliteitsbewust, in staat om snel beslissingen te nemen en gewend om samen te werken in teams;
+ Je hebt uitstekende mondeling en schriftelijke adviesvaardigheden, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.
