Jouw werkweek ziet er zo uit:

• Je denkt het Power BI landschap van de klant uit en adviseert collega’s over de inrichting;

• Je krijgt de kans om betrokken te zijn bij kennismaking en verdiepingssessies bij potentiële klanten, waarbij jij het verschil kunt maken met een goed verhaal of demo!

• Collega professionals trekken zich aan jou op en komen actief naar je toe bij complexe vraagstukken over bijvoorbeeld DAX, autorisaties of data modelleren

• Als consultant ben je continu op zoek naar hoe je het verschil kunt maken bij je klant. Dit doe je door te luisteren, mee te denken en te adviseren

Job description

As a Data Engineer , you will be part of our growing central data team. You will design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines, models, and BI solutions that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and Data Engineers to ensure our data platform delivers reliable, scalable, and insightful information.

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines).

• Build and optimize SQL- and PySpark-based transformations in our medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers).

• Deliver end-to-end Power BI solutions : build trusted datasets, design and develop reports, and publish dashboards for self-service use.

• Contribute to the data model evolution , ensuring scalability for new product lines, markets, and customer entities.

• Implement data quality and reconciliation processes (e.g. between HubSpot CRM and warehouse).

• Automate and document ETL/ELT processes for reproducibility and maintainability.

• Partner with product and engineering teams on data integration from key platforms such as HubSpot (CRM/Marketing) and Strapi (CMS).

Your expertise  

•   5+ years experience as a Interim Data Engineer (or similar role) with a proven track record in Azure data services .

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, OneLake, Notebooks, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Power BI integration).

• Strong skills in SQL and Python (PySpark) .

• Proven ability to design and build Power BI reports and dashboards .

• Experience building and maintaining data models for BI tools .

• Understanding of data architecture principles (medallion architecture, star schema).

• Comfortable collaborating across tech and business teams, translating needs into scalable solutions.

• Experience with HubSpot CRM and/or Strapi CMS data integration.

Wat ga je doen?

• Leiden van complexe en vaak internationale IT- en dataprojecten, van kick-off tot succesvolle oplevering;

• Vertalen van klantbehoeften naar een duidelijke projectaanpak met haalbare doelen en strakke deadlines;

• Regie voeren over multidisciplinaire teams van consultants en developers, waarbij je richting en energie geeft;

• Actief managen van stakeholders: van operationele projectteams tot management bij grote klanten;

• Signaleren van risico’s en knelpunten en deze proactief oplossen, zodat projecten soepel blijven verlopen;

• Verbeteren van onze projectaanpak en processen door jouw inzichten en ervaring;

• Bijdragen aan de verdere groei van ons Data & Analytics-portfolio door mee te denken over strategie en innovatie.

Als Manager BI & Data Analytics ben je een coachende leidinggevende voor je team van 10 data-professionals en heb je aandacht voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de doorontwikkeling naar data gedreven werken. Hieronder valt het ontwikkelen en beheer van informatieproducten voor de zorg en bedrijfsvoering van Rijnstate en ben je aanjager van de transitie van de dataomgeving naar de cloud zodat geavanceerde datatechnieken op duurzame wijze kunnen worden ingezet. Belangrijke thema’s binnen de afdeling zijn: waarde gedreven zorg, bedrijfsvoering voorzien van zinvolle stuurinformatie en het neerzetten van een data analytics-omgeving in de cloud waarin data science kan worden ingezet.

Als Manager BI & Data Analytics ontwikkel je een duidelijke visie op het productportfolio van BI en data analytics, volg je marktontwikkelingen en zoek je partnerships met andere ziekenhuizen. Je bent op de hoogte van veranderingen in de gezondheidszorg zoals toenemende zorgvraag en vraagstukken rondom gegevensuitwisseling en ontwikkelt een visie op hoe data hieraan kan bijdragen. Je bent de strategische/tactische gesprekspartner voor de raad van bestuur en management, onderhoudt proactief relaties en geeft advies over data-gedreven werken en data governance.

Samen met jouw team creëer je maximale klantwaarde met dataproducten en ontwikkel je bestaande data-oplossingen verder zodat waarde van data sneller beschikbaar is voor de organisatie. Je werkt samen met stakeholders in zowel patiëntenzorg als bedrijfsvoering. Op termijn kan deze functie zich doorontwikkelen naar een Chief Data Officer (CDO).

Rijnstate zoekt een Manager BI & Data Analytics met kennis en ervaring op de volgende onderdelen:

• Leidinggevende ervaring met het coachen van teams van data professionals binnen een complexe organisatie; ervaring met organisatie- en teamontwikkeling.
• Ruime vakinhoudelijke ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie op het gebied van management en data in een professionele en autonome organisatie, met veel brondata en bedrijfskritische informatievoorziening. Relevante kennis van managementinformatie, data warehousing, process mining en data science.
• Ervaring met Agile werken in complexe organisaties; in staat IMT te ondersteunen bij de doorontwikkeling naar Agile werken.

Je beschikt over:

• WO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur een WO-opleiding op het gebied van Bedrijfskunde, Bedrijfskundige Informatica of Bestuurlijke Informatiekunde.
• Kennis van technologische- en marktontwikkelingen op het gebied van data management.
• Ervaring met advisering op bestuurlijk niveau en het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van externe netwerken.
• Kennis van en ervaring in de zorg is een pré, maar niet vereist.

Daarnaast beschik je over de volgende competenties:
