Future Vision

For over three years, Vloto has been developing its unique community-focused shared mobility concept. Starting from our test area in the “De Krijgsman” neighborhood in Muiden—where our investor KNSF is developing 1,300 homes—we’ve built a solid foundation and are expanding this year to many new communities, growing our fleet from 80 to 300 vehicles. Our ambition reaches far:

2 back-end developers, 2 front-end developers, a UX designer, and a product owner. Together, we aim to position Vloto as a leader in shared mobility.

About the role

We're looking for a React Native Developer who wants to do more than just push code. You'll help us build delightful, high-performing mobile experiences and contribute directly to product decisions.

You’ll also be on a clear growth path toward a Front-End Lead role, helping shape our technical direction as we scale. You ensure users have a flawless experience, from reserving a car and tracking charging statuses to unlocking via Bluetooth and introducing new community features. Working with a young and ambitious team, you’ll elevate our technology to the next level.

Your Responsibilities:

• Own the front-end experience in a fast-moving product team
• Build new features for our consumer app and internal tools with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Collaborating with designers, developers, and the product owner to deliver an optimal user experience.
• Actively contributing to the technical discussions, architectural decisions, and our technology roadmap.
• Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code using best practices.
• Manage the full app lifecycle, including publishing and updates on the App Store and Google Play Store.

Collaborating on Four Innovative Products:

Vloto App:
Our main app used by 1,300+ active users, handling 700+ rides per week.

Vloter App:
Used by our “Vloters” for tasks like cleaning and charging the cars.

Vloto Dashboard:
A powerful data and admin platform providing insights into our fleet, bookings, growth, user behavior, and CO2 savings.

VlotoTaxi App:
Used by taxi drivers.

Who Are You?

You’re an entrepreneurial front-end React Native developer who enjoys taking responsibility. You love clean code, complex datasets, and innovative projects. Do you recognize yourself in most of the following?

• 2+ years of experience with React Native in production environments
• Technical skills:
  React Native, JavaScript ES6, React, Redux, Node.Js, HTML, CSS
• API expertise:
  REST/JSON and API implementations are your forte.
• Tools:
  Git, GitHub.
• Bonus:
  strong understanding of UX/UI principles, experience with CI/CD, bluetooth integrations and knowledge of Apple & Google development guidelines.
• Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Play Store.
• Location:
  You are based in the Netherlands or relocating, with ability to work 4 days per week on-site
