About the role

Als Operations Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Aansturen van de dagelijkse operatie, met specifieke focus op de F&B-afdeling (Keuken, Ontbijt, Restaurant en Banqueting);
  • Intensief samenwerken met de teams om service, kwaliteit en gastbeleving continu op topniveau te waarborgen;
  • Optreden als aanspreekpunt en inspirerende people manager die collega's motiveert, coacht en begeleidt;
  • Schakelen tussen strategie en praktijk: van personeelsplanning en gastfeedback tot procesoptimalisatie en conceptontwikkeling;
  • Samenwerken met het managementteam aan het continu verbeteren van de operatie, gastgericht én efficiënt;

Voor de functie van Operations Manager bieden wij een marktconform salaris tot €4.250 bruto per maand, afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring. About the Role
As Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the hotel's daily operations. You ensure quality, service, and efficiency across all operational departments-from Food & Beverage to Rooms. Then this vacancy is for you! CBRE GWS is looking for a driven Site Lead/ Operations Manager to lead our team at the EMEA Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum.
The CBRE team in Hilversum is experienced and knowledgeable. We are looking for someone who can connect our diverse team, further integrate it, and help it grow.
As Site Lead/ Operations Manager, you will have final responsibility for all facility (soft services) and technical (hard services) services, contract support, communication, additional work, and projects for our client at the EMEA Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum. A Campus location with multiple buildings owned by different Land Lords and managed by different Property Management companies. You will be supported in this by the managers of each department and a financial director who oversees the entire EMEA budget.
As Site Lead, your areas of focus are as follows:
**Safety & Integrity**
You are ultimately responsible for ensuring a healthy and safe working environment. In doing so, you ensure the correct implementation of the QHSE and Integrity guidelines of both the client and CBRE. This includes:
+ Ensuring safety plans are in place,
+ Monitoring the correct procedures on a daily basis, including in the event of incidents,
+ Ensuring team members receive the appropriate training,
+ Promoting the right business conduct and communication values ('lead by example').
**Financial Management**
As Site Lead, you are responsible for the budget for the EHQ location. To this end, you monitor financial progress and strive for maximum profitability. You are supported in this by the Financial Director. Your responsibilities include:
+ Managing cost control,
+ Delivering savings initiatives,
+ Delivering a cost-effective MJOP for all assets,
+ Providing input for financial planning and KPI reports (both for the client and CBRE)
+ Engaging in commercial negotiations where necessary.
**Stakeholder Management & Customer Satisfaction**
In this position, you will be responsible for overall customer satisfaction and the continuous development of the partnership with the customer. This includes:
+ Actively informing the customer about general progress, KPIs, SLAs, the status of assets, etc.,
+ Acting as a line of communication between the team and the customer and vice versa.
+ Actively responding to changing needs, situations, and/or problems.
+ But also maintaining contact with the property management/owners of the various buildings in which the customer is housed.
**Supply Chain**
In Hilversum, we work with suppliers for specific service lines for which you, as Site Lead/ Operations Manager, are indirectly responsible. Your role is to manage the output of outsourced services in accordance with the contract terms and conditions and the relevant KPIs, to manage the performance of the suppliers, and to monitor compliance with QHSE and integrity guidelines. You will also work closely with colleagues from Supply Chain Solutions to maximize the use of our preferred suppliers.
**People Management**
As Site Lead, you will play an important role in the continuous development, training, and coaching of your team, including both direct and indirect reports. In total, you will manage four direct reports, with the projects department falling under your responsibility but managed functionally. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Making decisions regarding promotions, training, additional recruitment, etc.
+ Encouraging talent development,
+ Conducting assessment and performance reviews and setting objectives,
+ Developing an "ownership" mentality and integral cooperation,
+ Organizing and holding team meetings and one-on-one meetings with your leaders.
