Wat ga je doen als Helpdesk medewerker ?
Hoofdzakelijk ga je vragen beantwoorden via de telefoon, e-mail, klantportaal of chat. Dit zijn vooral vragen over het gebruik van onze software maar dit kunnen ook best IT- en administratieve gerelateerde vragen zijn omdat deze samenhangen met de software.
Omdat het veel verschillende vragen kunnen zijn, zal je nooit alles gelijk weten. Je werkt daarom nauw samen met andere collega’s van de helpdesk en de ontwikkelafdeling zodat je samen kan bijdragen om met oplossingen te komen.
Je onderzoekt en registreert alle stappen op een duidelijke manier zodat jij en je collega’s altijd genoeg informatie hebben om mee te denken, antwoorden te geven of misschien later iets terug te vinden. Je praat op een uiterst vriendelijke en behulpzame manier met onze klanten.
Je denkt altijd mee over hoe we onze manier van werken en service kunnen verbeteren.
Wie ben jij, en wat neem je mee?
- Een sterke drive om de verwachtingen van de klant te overtreffen;
- Je hebt een analytisch- en probleemoplossend vermogen;
- Minimaal MBO 4 denk- en werkniveau;
- Ervaring of affiniteit met MS Windows en MS Office is een voordeel;
- Ervaring op een andere service-/helpdesk of soortgelijke functie is een pluspunt;

How we work
During your internship at SIG, you will gain valuable insight into the operations of the IT Support team. You will work closely with the team to set up devices for new hires and learn how to troubleshoot application issues. Additionally, you will develop expertise in Mobile Device Management and the automation of deploying and managing Apple devices. This experience will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the daily operations of IT Support teams and enhance your troubleshooting skills.
Preparing and configuring Apple macOS and iOS devices for SIG's new hires
Learning about the management and monitoring systems of our meeting rooms
Assisting employees with hands-on support and questions
Learning about Apple Mobile Device Management and hardware inventory
Gaining insight into enterprise network management and Wi-Fi standards
Assisting with user account provisioning and application license management
Activities
Gain SIG expertise and learn all about SIG offerings
Sharing knowledge within your team and acting as a coach and training partner
Contribute to the automation of management processes
Oversee user access to specific applications

+ Developing and implementing procedures for tracking IT assets in ServiceNow system is a must.
+ Maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, monitoring the lifecycle of IT assets to optimize their use and mitigate risks.
+ Ensuring compliance with asset management policies and regulations.
+ Coordinating with vendors for procurement and contract negotiations and collaborating with the IT team to forecast future budgets and savings.
+ Managing the disposal and replacement of obsolete or ineffective IT assets.
+ Providing regular audits, analysis, and reports on the cost, performance, and value of IT assets.
+ Ensuring data privacy and security of IT assets and maintaining high levels of customer service.
+ Supporting field personnel in troubleshooting issues related to IT assets, tracking requests and communicating expectations to customers.
+ Addressing discrepancies in the asset repository, assisting with special projects as needed, including providing ad hoc reports as requested.
+ Scanning equipment as it is received to enter into the asset database and maintaining local and remote inventory levels for IT assets.
+ Coordinating equipment disposals for remote locations.
+ Ensuring assets are received from vendors and shipped to end users in a timely fashion.
+ Developing and maintaining detailed reports on IT asset management activities, including asset utilization, compliance, and financial metrics.
**What you will bring to the team:**
+ 1 - 6 year of experience in IT asset management and IT support engineer (ICT).
+ Experience in managing IT assets in both Windows and Apple products.
+ You have problem-solving skills, a passion for an IT career with strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including be ability to work as a team player.
+ Good Communication in English
+ This position will be 5 days on-site at the office in Amsterdam
