De gemeente Amersfoort staat aan de vooravond van een verhuizing naar een nieuw, toekomstgericht stadhuis. Terwijl we toewerken naar een moderne, datacenter-luwe IT-omgeving, blijft het huidige landschap onmisbaar voor onze dienstverlening. Daarom zoeken we een interim IT-specialist die zich richt op het dagelijks beheer van onze infrastructuur en waar nodig ondersteunt in lopende projecten.
De opdracht
Als IT-specialist ben jij dé beheerder van onze bestaande SharePoint en Microsoft 365 omgeving. Je werkt binnen Team Werkplek 365, een DevOps-team dat verantwoordelijk is voor de continuïteit van onze IT-dienstverlening. De nadruk ligt op technisch beheer: beschikbaarheid, stabiliteit en veiligheid. Daarnaast lever je, waar nodig, een bijdrage aan projectmatige werkzaamheden rondom migraties en optimalisaties.
Wat ga je doen?
- Beheren en monitoren van de on-premise en cloud SharePoint omgeving.
- Analyseren en oplossen van storingen en incidenten.
- Documenteren van processen, instructies en wijzigingen.
- Toepassen van updates, patches en configuratiebeheer.
- Samenwerken met leveranciers en collega’s binnen IV.
- Inrichten en beheren van test- en productieomgevingen.
- Meedenken bij infrastructuurvraagstukken binnen projecten.
- Rapporteren over prestaties, risico’s en knelpunten.
De context
Je maakt deel uit van Team Werkplek 365 binnen de afdeling Informatievoorziening. Het team werkt volgens de SCRUM-methodiek en zorgt voor een stabiele IT-basis tijdens deze periode van verandering. De hiërarchische en functionele aansturing ligt bij de product owner Infra. Bij inzet op projecten stem je af met andere teamleiders of projectcoördinatoren.

Job responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional onsite IT support, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a variety of hardware and software issues, escalating to or collaborating with third-party vendors and resolver groups when necessary.
- Recommend the most suitable products and services to address customers' needs.
- Manage user accounts including permissions, security settings, and systems group memberships.
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, peripherals, network equipment, and AV/conference systems (such as MTR and Zoom).
- Provide support for equipment moves and new setups, including ordering, installing, and testing hardware and cables.
- Support day-to-day IT operations, including handling IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) requests and managing documentation for inventory and configuration changes.
- Proactively assist users onsite, whether by phone, email, or face-to-face, adapting to diverse and evolving IT situations to keep business running smoothly.
- ITIL V3 Foundation Certification (recommended)
- Microsoft Operating System/Office certifications are an asset
- Advanced MS Office 365 skills
- Advanced user of iOS and Android
- Basic networking skills
- Knowledge of Active Directory and permissions
- At least 2 years of experience in onsite support (an equivalent combination of education and related experience may also fulfill this requirement)

The Senior IT PMO Specialist is responsible for delivery of complex IT projects across McDermott's global Engineering and Construction revenue generating projects including joint venture and Client environments. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards - while aligning with client requirements and organizational objectives. As part of Project IT the role is also expected to technically support project users and locations for the provision of all IT services to project locations. This includes, assisting with user onboarding, site setup, coordinating with site teams, problem solving & reporting, adhering to Corporate IT updates & initiatives and supporting with end user computing during the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, strategic mindset, and exceptional communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders, manage cross-functional teams, and drive successful outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent collaboration with internal teams, clients, and partners across diverse geographies.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee daily project execution to ensure timely, on-budget delivery with high-quality outcomes
+ A key responsibility of this role is to support project mobilization, on-site IT operations, and demobilization activities.
+ Manage IT infrastructure setup - including networks and hardware - for construction sites, client teams, and joint ventures, in collaboration with other IT teams.
+ Review client ITB documents to assess overall IT requirements, identifying associated risks and opportunities
+ Prepare or support with IT estimates and control spending within the allocated budgets
+ Prepare the IT Execution Plan, schedules and budget for proposals and projects
+ Detect and manage project scope changes and deviations from the project schedule
+ Assist in preparing Weekly/Monthly project status reports and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
+ Capture lessons learned and best practices, ensuring their integration for better results
+ Manage and assist with IT Asset Inventory management for projects
+ Support and monitor company's global IT initiatives ensuring smooth deployment and adoption - proven ability to engage teams and drive change
+ Proven strategic thinking with a strong track record of execution
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver technical recommendations, implement workarounds, and conduct root cause analysis
+ Utilize ServiceNow to monitor, manage, and close ITSM tickets efficiently
+ Communicates with Project IT Area Manager, Global Managers, Site IT Lead and Project & Construction Management Teams to update on any challenges or upcoming events for better visibility and planning.
+ Works closely with internal teams to explore how technology can address their needs, with a particular focus on supporting users and operations at project site locations
+ Some international travel will be required to support project needs
The Senior IT PMO Specialist will be reporting to the Project IT Area Manager, EMEA.
**Essential Qualifications and Education**
+ Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
+ 5+ years of work experience in IT project management or project operations.
+ Project Management certification is required (PMP or equivalent)
+ ITIL certification is preferred.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills
+ Strong problem-solving and resolution skills
+ Conversant with MS O365 suite
+ Working knowledge of ServiceNow is preferred
+ Experience and working knowledge with Active Directory are preferred
+ Technical skills background including IT networks, Active Directory, Azure, MS Projects, SharePoint.
