As a Supply Chain Planner, you are part of the department Planning & Buying in Medemblik and will report to the Manager Planning. You are the main contact for our Production, Buying and Customer Support teams. You're responsible for setting up an accurate production plan based upon material and capacity availability to meet customer requirements. You're able to identify bottlenecks and work cross-functional to find solutions.
The objective of the Supply Chain Planner role is to schedule production according to the sales order Requested GI date and quantity, to meet customer requirements (OTD). You are responsible for maintaining the production plan for an assigned Value Stream. Your knowledge in Supply Chain processes enables you to identify bottle-necks/problems in the process and to initiate/coordinate process improvements. You maintain KPI's and reports to support you of making sound judgements and prioritize accordingly.
What you will do:
+ Take ownership of assigned Value Stream planning.
+ Analyze and convert daily generated planned orders to production orders
+ Assure production continuity by having sufficient released production orders.
+ Collaborate with Production, Design Engineering and Quality on priority setting and blocked orders - Collaborate with Buying on material availability and vendor delivery dates - Collaborate with Customer Support on expedites, delays and other queries.
+ Understand the root cause of production delays and take countermeasures to prevent them from reoccurring.
+ Maintain defined KPI's to monitor daily progress - Escalate issues to Manager Planning & Buying
Who you are:
+ Attention to detail and excellent analytical & problem solving skills
+ Pro-active mindset
+ Ability to communicate (English and Dutch) effectively in a dynamic, challenging, international environment
+ In-depth understanding of supply chain processes
+ Team player, but is also able to work independently
Experience and education
+ Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or other relevant education
+ At least 2 to 4 years of professional experience within Supply Chain and/or a production environment
+ Excellent command of the English and Dutch language
+ ERP knowledge, SAP would be an advantage
+ Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vertical lookups.) and other MS Office applications

The Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) enables customers to find meaningful answers to questions that accelerate breakthrough discoveries. **The Position**
At our site in Eindhoven we develop and produce innovative Transmission Microscopes. It takes around a year to build and test these high end systems before we can deliver to our customers. In this role as Supply Chain Planner you will be part of the Systems & Module Planning team. The System and Module planning team operates to a Sales and Operation Plan (S&OP plan). This team is in charge of the supply chain planning and all dynamics and challenges that are connected to this. The challenge is to manage lowest costs with the highest efficiency and highest service level. It's an exciting and dynamic supply chain environment.
As a Supply Chain Planner, you are in charge of executing dynamic short to mid-term plans for systems, sub-assemblies, and spare parts, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with your stakeholders in logistics, production, in 2 other production sites (in US and CZ) and the service organization to align on their needs. You will be a spider in the web between our manufacturing facility and our internal customers and you'll need to work structured and thorough to get our supply chain arranged.
**The key responsibilities are:**
+ Translating the master production plan into detailed production and purchasing requirements
+ Start production of key assemblies/modules and ensure material availability in the factory
+ Initiate repairs and production of components
+ Safeguard the on time production ofwork ordersand maintain MRP accordingly
+ Identify and address risks in the production plan and take necessary actions
+ Provide support by stepping in for your colleagues as needed, ensuring continuity within the team during their holidays
**The Requirements**
+ Strong analytical and numerical skills
+ Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
+ Proficient with MS Office Excel
+ Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
+ Proficient inEnglishand Dutch
+ Able to drive improvement projects under supervision
+ Ability to handle a dynamic workload: from heavy multi-tasking during peak workloads to focused thorough work
+ Preferably, experience in a (high tech) production environment
