Bij Eternal Sun ontwerpen en produceren we high-end zonnesimulatoren voor de zonne-energie sector wereldwijd. Zonnesimulatoren zijn cruciale machines die worden gebruikt bij de productie (voor het controleren van de kwaliteit en het meten van zonnepanelen) en bij R&D (voor het ontwikkelen van de volgende generatie hoogefficiënte zonnepanelen). De rol:
Vanwege de sterke groei in de solar markt zijn wij op zoek naar een Control Systems (PLC) Engineer om ons team te versterken. De belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden zijn het ontwerpen, programmeren/configureren, testen, debuggen en in bedrijf stellen van besturingstoepassingen voor onze zonnesimulatoren.
Voorbeelden van een werkdag als Control Systems (PLC) Engineer:
Ontwerpen van nieuwe functionaliteiten en doorontwikkelen van bestaande systemen in de PLC van onze zonnesimulatoren
Samenwerken met de software engineers om een gebruiksvriendelijke HMI te ontwerpen voor de aansturing van de machines
Ondersteuning bieden (remote of op locatie) aan het service team en de klant tijdens commissioning, updaten en troubleshooting van de PLC
Het testen van het besturingssysteem en het oplossen van problemen samen met de monteurs bij ons in productie
Reizen naar een klant voor het installeren van een nieuwe zonnesimulator (alleen als je dit leuk vindt om te doen)

De volgende vaardigheden zijn een absolute must-have :
> 5 jaar ervaring als PLC engineer
Ervaring met Beckhoff (TwinCAT) of Allen-Brandley of Siemens. Ervaring met programmeren in ST (structured text) / OOP (object-oriented programming)
Basiskennis in electrotechnisch meten/storingzoeken
In staat zijn om van begin tot eind eigenaarschap te nemen van projecten binnen jouw discipline
Afstemmen van prioriteiten met management, customer service en sales teams
Een of meerdere vaardigheden zijn een plus :

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van specificaties, het detailontwerp en het selecteren van componenten. Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s uit verschillende disciplines zoals mechanical en software engineering, inkoop en productie. Daarnaast ondersteun je bij prototypebouw en technische klantvragen.

Jouw profiel
- Afgeronde hbo-of wo-opleiding in Elektrotechniek
- Ervaring met het opstellen van elektrische schema’s (bijv. In E-plan)
- Praktische vaardigheden voor prototypebouw en troubleshooting
- Teamspeler met goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een hands-on mentaliteit

Elke dag werk je aan het ontwerpen en engineeren van nieuwe producten. Je tekent elektrotechnische en regeltechnische schema’s, ondersteunt de productieafdeling met duidelijke werkinstructies en staat klaar om collega's te adviseren bij technische vragen.
