Your Tasks
Would you love to run the demand process for our brand(s) in 80 stores across the Benelux?
The Demand Planning team manages the forecasting and replenishment process of all our products divided over different brands and categories. As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for your own brand(s) and you make sure that every customer touch point (80 stores in the BeNeLux and Online) meets an accurate forecast with optimal product availability.
You work closely together with category management and the campaign promotion team to gather the input needed for the forecast and the products can be planned and purchased with our suppliers. You become part of a team of highly educated demand planners where each planner runs the demand planning process independently for their own brand(s). You take initiative to further improve and develop this process by collaborating with key stakeholders in the organization.
We expect you to be a flexible team player with a hands-on mentality. You oversee the end-to-end supply chain. Above all, you have a drive to improve processes.
Your Mission: Develop demand plans and operational forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation and lead S&OP process.
You are in the lead of your own orderbook , create and manage orders considering product and supplier performance
Realize a great product availability across our 80 stores in the BeNeLux. Focus on replenishment on time and in full.
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers and evaluate forecast accuracy overall, root cause analysis and action planning
Use and maintain the Demand Planning software (RELEX) as the primary forecasting and replenishment tool.
Forecast and Replenish promotional plans with Stores, Marketing and Supply Chain.
Align inventory levels with the company's stock targets.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in Demand and/or Supply planning;
- Experience in Ordermanagement;
- Excellent analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a focus on Microsoft Excel;
- Fluent in English (verbal and written);
- Experience with a demand planning tool (Relex) will be highly appreciated;
- You are independent and pro-active with excellent communication skills;
- Hands-on mentality with strong solution orientation;
- Experienced in lean methodology.

**The Position**
As NOS (Never Out of Stock) Demand Planner Outlet, you will be crucial to the Omni Planning & Allocation team, contributing to the development and execution of NOS Demand and inventory planning across the all Divisions for TH Outlet channel. You will work closely with Merch Planning counterparts, Trade, Buying and Branch Planning teams to ensure that there is plan alignment for NOS season for sales, margin, and that inventory targets are met. This role is vital for achieving the Omni Planning and Allocation objectives and your work will be key to the commercial success of the TH brand.
**Key Responsibilities:**
· Merchandise plan: Work with Planning and Buying to input NOS Merchandise Plan, including inventory buy targets, seasonal sales by option, and margin targets, to feed into wider merchandise planning and buying processes, and in close partnership with location & commercial planning and buying strategy.
· Seasonal reviews: Conduct seasonal NOS hind sighting & determine forward strategy for the product groups and options managed, in collaboration with buying counterparts
· NOS Demand Planning: Oversee & review monthly NOS option level demand plans, across all TH divisions, based on Sales trends, Store Stock levels, available DC inventory, and future inbound. Pass off sized monthly vendor purchase order to Planning Operations team for PO placement
· Monthly Buy quantification: Continuously review sizing of buy to quantify SKU-level volumes for monthly buy placement
· Allocation framework: Determine and continuously optimize NOS target stock levels and replenishment plans, in collaboration with Branch Planning and Allocation teams
· Open-to-buy: Inpit into the open-to-buy (WSSI monthly forecasting) process for NOS season and actively monitor in-season performance to identify opportunities and risks; propose and drive actions to maximize sales and profitability
· Excess stock: Ensure Merchandise plans account for absorption of End of Season & Divisional returns of NOS coded stock. Ensure in-Season absorption & allocation of Excess stock to targets, in partnership with Branch Planning & Allocation teams
· Promotion & phase out NOS markdown: Provide financial guardrails & prepare option level discounts for promotional activity and strategize markdowns for phased out NOS, in accordance with product group level targets and commercial decisions. Balance margin preservation with inventory clearance.
· Continuous improvement: Implement and exploit new systems and processes to continually increase team efficiency.

The Team
Within the Omni Planning & Allocation team, our mission is to drive commercial trade, financial planning, demand forecasting, and allocation & replenishment of inventory across all channels and categories, whilst setting strategic guardrails on product promotions and markdown decisions to maximize margin and profitability. This position's team serves as the backbone of our department, collaborating closely with Buying/Merchandising, DTC Channel teams (eCom, FP, Outlet), Hubs, and Finance to ensure that all inventory and product decisions are aligned with company-wide planning and allocation decisions. The Position
As EMEA Demand & Inventory Senior Planner, you will be crucial to the Omni Planning and Allocation team. You will contribute to the Total EMEA seasonal demand forecasting and buy planning, for certain product categories or divisions, collaborating closely with DTC channels and Hubs/Wholesale Key Account Planning teams to support sales, margin, and inventory goals. This role is vital for achieving the Omni Planning and Allocation objectives and your work will be key to the commercial success of the TH brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Long term planning: Provide insights to support long-range planning processes and support top-down seasonal sales, margin, and inventory plans and strategies to meet corporate financial targets.
- Merchandise strategy: Collaborate with DTC Buying, Merchandising and Wholesale Account teams to align product category demand forecasts with seasonal product strategies.

This role drives S&OP, ensures optimal inventory levels, supports new product introductions/switches, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to align demand planning with business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core Responsibilities
Local Planning Activities:
- Responsible for the full-term volume demand forecast (both base & promo) per category for the Benelux for a rolling horizon of 18 months.
- For the horizon of 2-6 months, providing the business with a robust rolling volume forecast using category market intelligence to translate the plans of sales/marketing and market dynamics into a volume forecast per account.
- Demand input to the Long-Term Capacity Plan (LTCP) by collecting market volume assumptions on portfolio level (with an 18 months horizon) aligned to the business plan
- Driver of the demand volume forecast in the S&OP forecasting process in collaboration with CSP, Finance and CD in line with business objectives and supply chain capabilities
- Manage planning activities for portfolio management, innovations, (re)launches, and delists.
- Identify capacity constraints risk and initiate mitigation actions.
- Prevention and solving of obsoletes through proactive risk mitigating
Extended Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management:
- Dispatch Rate and Obsoletes:
Use available data and analytics to generate business insights and action plans for different scenarios. - Prebuild:
Setting up prebuild plans for customers, in close collaboration with CD and CS. - Stock Levels:
Manage appropriate stock levels driven by forecast uncertainty insights (event management, season management, assumptions risk and opportunity planning). - Risk mitigation:
Collaborates with European category teams to identify supply constraints and opportunities
Innovations & Switches
- Innovation Forecast:
In cooperation with Marketing, CSP and CD set up realistic innovation forecasts for the full horizon (5-18 months) into planning systems. Check feasibility of timings and production capacity for innovations and switches with supply. - Launch Planning:
Collaborate with local marketing and EU teams (P&I en CPMs) for market readiness. - Switch Management:
Translate phasing in and out plan in planning system in cooperation with Category, Planning, and CD teams
Business Waste Management
- Risk and Obsoletes Transparency:
Provide transparency about potential risks and obsoletes regarding innovations, delisting's, and relaunches. - Proactive Risk Mitigation:
Focus on prevention and solving of obsoletes through proactive risk mitigation.
Continuous Improvements
- Predictive Model Improvemen
t: Analyse forecasts to improve predictive models. - Project Team Participation:
Be part of the project team for the implementation of next generation planning systems - Automation Project
s: Initiate projects with third parties/stakeholders to automate processes and save costs. - Visualization:
Use tools like PowerBI to visualize projects and influence decision-making.
Business Partnering
Establish and maintain relationships:
Build strong relationships with Supply, CSP, CD, Finance, and Marketing for forecast optimization, stock risk mitigation and perfect execution of product launches. Being able effectively present and persuade through data-driven analysis
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education with relevant Master Degree (e.g. SC management, Business administration, technical)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical capabilities, ability to work with big portfolio's, building on modelling skills, and profound system thinking,
- It takes a mix of analytical thinking and creative business thinking to succeed
- A strong affinity with data & technology is a must
- Experience in the area of (seasonal) FMCG is preferred
- Operational experience in and knowledge of the Supply Chain

What You Will Work On
As a Supply Chain and Operations Intern, you'll play a key role in driving business performance and optimizing supply chain processes for Nike or Converse. Depending on the position, previous supply chain interns have worked on:

- Analyzing and improving business performance through weekly and monthly performance management tasks
