Introduction

The Installed Base & Costs Systems team within Customer Support focuses on improving the efficiency and transparency of service costs for EUV systems. Acting as the interface between the technical and financial domains, the team supports cost managers by generating reports and aligning targets with business lines. However, a significant amount of time is currently spent on manually transforming raw data into actionable insights. To address this, we are looking for an intern to help automate and streamline our cost reporting processes.

Your assignment

You will work on two key assignments:

  • Automate the monthly cost analysis process (currently Excel-based) using existing work instructions.
  • Develop a tool to answer ad-hoc business questions directly from the unified dashboard (e.g., labor hours per customer).
  • Reduce manual workload and improve data accessibility for the team.
  • Focus initially on labor cost reporting, with potential to scale to other cost pillars and regions.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and receive guidance from the team.
Your profile

To be a fit for this assignment, you:

  • Are studying Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Have affinity with Excel (macros), Spotfire, or Python (basic scripting is sufficient).
  • Are analytical and enjoy solving data-related challenges.
  • Have a proactive attitude and can work independently.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.

This is a bachelor's or master's internship for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (2 to 3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you're currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Functie-eisen
