This is an EU TAX ACCOUNTING role based in the Netherlands. In this job you will work closely with a team of 4-6 people who look after the taxation regimes across 9 European subsidiaries/entities. You will be busy ensuring tax compliance and as such , will have a good understanding of EU taxation requirements including VAT and other indirect taxation tools as well as looking after price transfers
DUTIES : oversee tax management for 9 EU entities
Ensuring EU Tax Compliance
- overseeing tax-related matters,
- providing local financial operations support,
- Undertaking preliminary expense report reviews ( France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, and Greece).
- Coordinate tax filings across the region
- Assess project-related tax risks in the EU
- Apply for tax registration numbers in the managed countries
- Evaluate tax risks for new strategic areas (Nordic region)
- Participate in global tax planning to reduce overall tax burden
- Liaise with tax advisors to complete monthly or quarterly VAT returns for the managed tax registrations
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant financial Degree
- 2 years EU taxation experience
- Familiar with EU tax laws and regulations
