Als Lead Project Management maak jij het verschil op drie fronten: je bent de inspirerende lead voor een team van Social Project Managers, je draagt zorg voor het continu verbeteren van processen en de samenwerking met verschillende afdelingen én je bent zelf hands-on betrokken bij projecten als meewerkend voorman. Are you interested in how large-scale buildings and infrastructure projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered? Wij zijn op zoek naar een nieuwe collega die samen met ons team het project- en portfoliomanagement binnen de organisatie naar een hoger plan gaat trekken, om te zorgen voor de beste IT voor de defensiemedewerkers. Daarnaast zal je de Projectleider op een zo goed mogelijk manier ondersteunen.

Een PMO-er heeft bij JIVC een divers takenpakket waarbij de focus ligt op projectbeheersing en projectborging. Een deel van de taken zijn vanuit het projectbureau gericht op het monitoren van de projectrapportages. Dat betreft bijvoorbeeld het bewaken van de (kwaliteits) kaders voor projectvoering. Andere werkzaamheden zijn voor specifieke projecten. Dan kun je denken aan het bewaken en vastleggen van project documenten zoals budgetten, planningen etc., het onderhouden en bijhouden van ondersteunende systemen zoals Fortes Change Cloud (FCC) en DWRD/SharePoint-site. Daarnaast kan door de projectleider en kwaliteitsmanager gevraagd worden om openstaande acties na te jagen en te documenteren.

Je bent onderdeel van een kwaliteitsteam en werkt met dat team voor één van de JIVC afdelingen of projecten. Het kwaliteitsteam heeft het overzicht over het projectportfolio en helpt het afdelingsmanagement, portfoliomanager en projectleiders te werken volgens de Defensie en JIVC richtlijnen.

Deze functie heeft als standplaats Utrecht. Veel van onze werkzaamheden vinden daar plaats, maar Defensie heeft locaties door het hele land en soms is het voor een project nodig een leverancier te bezoeken. Af en toe een dienstreis maakt onderdeel uit van de activiteiten. Voor deze functie is de verwachting dat er ook met enige regelmaat vanuit Amersfoort gewerkt wordt. Het JIVC (Joint IV Commando) is de belangrijkste leverancier van IT-producten en -diensten voor Defensie. Dit geldt voor zowel operationele, bestuurlijke als ondersteunende processen. JIVC speelt daarmee een grote rol in het ondersteunen van de krijgsmacht. Daarnaast is het JIVC een kenniscentrum voor IT-beleid en bedrijfsvoering, en adviseert het beleidsmakers, opdrachtgevers en klanten.

JIVC is verantwoordelijk voor de hele levenscyclus van de IT-dienstverlening. De producten en diensten komen van Defensie zelf, commerciële leveranciers, militaire partners en samenwerkingsverbanden. Het JIVC coördineert daarbij de complete IT-dienstverlening voor Defensie en maakt daarbij zoveel mogelijk gebruik van de markt.

Het JIVC zorgt voor de afstemming tussen vraag en aanbod, innoveert tijdig de producten en diensten, en levert betaalbare IT-oplossingen voor Defensie volgens het motto "goed is goed genoeg". Waar nodig worden strengere eisen gesteld, bijvoorbeeld aan gebruik, beschikbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid en ondersteuning. JIVC biedt een centrale plek voor klanten en gebruikers, waarbij de levering van producten en diensten voorspelbaar is op het gebied van kwaliteit, tijd en kosten.
De werkzaamheden worden verricht binnen de sectie Ondersteunende Diensten (OD), dat onderdeel uitmaakt van het Expertise Centrum (EC), organisatorisch ondergebracht binnen het Joint IV Commando (JIVC) van het Commando Materieel en IT (COMMIT).

Project Management Officer voor Defensie IT projecten Wat ga je doen?

Wij zijn op zoek naar een nieuwe collega die samen met ons team het project- en portfoliomanagement binnen de organisatie naar een hoger plan gaat trekken, om te zorgen voor de beste IT voor de defensiemedewerkers. Daarnaast zal je de Projectleider op een zo goed mogelijk manier ondersteunen.

Een PMO-er heeft bij JIVC een divers takenpakket waarbij de focus ligt op projectbeheersing en projectborging. Een deel van de taken zijn vanuit het projectbureau gericht op het monitoren van de projectrapportages. Dat betreft bijvoorbeeld het bewaken van de (kwaliteits) kaders voor projectvoering. Andere werkzaamheden zijn voor specifieke projecten. Dan kun je denken aan het bewaken en vastleggen van project documenten zoals budgetten, planningen etc., het onderhouden en bijhouden van ondersteunende systemen zoals Fortes Change Cloud (FCC) en DWRD/SharePoint-site. Daarnaast kan door de projectleider en kwaliteitsmanager gevraagd worden om openstaande acties na te jagen en te documenteren.

The Project Manager I works with other project managers in a small pod, the team being responsible for managing the storage and distribution aspects for clients. The Project Manager I is responsible for ensuring that on time delivery (OTD) targets are met, the dispatch and shipping documentation is provided on time and right first time. PMI's are responsible for coordinating with logistic service providers to ensure the delivery of shipping materials in a timely manner, the packaging of client requirements for dispatch and then the on-time dispatch.
The APM will work closely with the PMII and PMIII teams to ensure that needs are understood, updates are provided and to provide support with issue resolution.
**This is a shift position covering 7 days a week working on a rotating shift pattern covering the period 7am to 7pm, shifts would not be longer than 10hrs and would stagger start and finish times to cover the working day with other team members on the pod. It is important for the role to be able to work weekends and bank holidays and easily be able to commute to site. For the initial onboarding and training period then the expectation would to be on site Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide logistic management support for the storage and distribution of client material.
+ Prepare and submit documentation related to client activities and requests.
+ Lead the Green Light to Ship (GLTS) process in accordance with project timelines.
+ Assess client-supplied study specifications with Quality, Operations, and Procurement to craft Supply Chain solutions.
+ Ensure activities are completed in a timely manner to meet client requirements.
+ Use project planning tools such as Microsoft Project to monitor and communicate achievements and critical path activities.
+ Provide timely reports and other information to all collaborators.
+ Liaise with Operations to ensure study logistics are appropriately handled.
+ Lead stock levels for kit materials and packaging components.
+ Write and review departmental SOPs, Project Plans, and other documentation.
+ Ensure timely revenue recognition for assigned projects and verify final information for the Accounting Department.
+ Handle non-conformance issues and provide timely resolution reports.
+ Provide training to other members of the Fisher Bio Services team.
+ Participate in cross-functional business process improvement activities.
+ Communicate effectively with all levels of management, tailoring messages appropriately.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**
+ Understanding of project management tools and techniques.
+ Certification in Project Management from a recognized training institution (or working towards certification) is advantageous.
+ Understanding of GXP requirements in a pharma or CRO environment.
+ Strong customer leadership skills and adaptability.
+ Ability to analyze problems and define customer-centric solutions.
+ Resilience and the ability to support team members.
+ Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and numerical skills.
+ Scientific degree required, or other degree coupled with pharma/CRO equivalent work experience.
+ A great teammate.
