Wat ga je doen?
Als Azure Cloud Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de continuïteit van de Azure IT-infrastructuur bij onze opdrachtgevers. Vaak zul je werken in een hybride cloud omgeving. Je bent onderdeel van het team van systeembeheerders bij onze klanten.
Taken
Je werkzaamheden:
Technisch onderhouden en beheren van de Azure omgeving.
Implementeren en configureren van oplossingen binnen Azure.
Automatiseren van werkzaamheden met onder andere PowerShell in Azure en het ontwikkelen,implementeren en onderhouden van de server, storage, netwerk en security infrastructuur.
Vereisten
Wat verwachten wij van jou?
Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar werkervaring als systeembeheerder.
Je hebt hbo werk- denkniveau.
Je bent Azure/Office 365/Microsoft gecertificeerd.
Je hebt ervaring met o.a. Microsoft Azure, PaaS/SaaS/IaaS, Microsoft Windows Server Platform, Microsoft Cloud en Windows Server (Active Directory en MS SQL).
Je bent woonachtig in Nederland in de Randstad (omgeving Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag of Rotterdam).

Overview
Als Azure Integration Architect begeleid jij klanten inhoudelijk in hun reis naar de Microsoft Cloud of bij het professionaliseren van de Cloud Competence. Wat ga je als Senior Architect Cloud Infra Technologie bij Defensie doen?

We verwachten dat je strategisch en conceptueel niveau de juiste ontwerpen kunt maken. Je brengt ook voldoende detail aan om deze ontwerpen om te zetten in realiteit. Daarnaast ben je in het bezit van een “Helikopterview” waarmee je het volledige ICT-landschap kan overzien, maar ben je ook in staat af te dalen tot detail niveau met name binnen de cloud-oplossingen.
Belangrijk om te weten: om voor Defensie te mogen werken moet je in het bezit zijn van een Nederlands paspoort en een VGB-B veiligheidsscreening doorlopen.
Welke kennis en ervaring breng je mee?

**Cloud Services Engineer**
**Job Description:**
We are Looking for an experienced Cloud Services Engineer to join our cloud operation team. You will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing our cloud environments to ensure the high availability, performance, and reliability of our services.
This role requires a strong Linux background, hands-on experience with AWS, OpenStack, and various cloud and automation tools. You will collaborate closely with development teams and play a key role in maintaining a secure and scalable infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Manage and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and OpenStack environments.
+ Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
+ Manage and optimize load balancers/webservers/applications servers for performance and redundancy.
+ Implement and maintain monitoring solutions.
+ Participate in an on-call rotation for availability and incident response.
+ Collaborate closely with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
+ Conduct and support security audits; assess and follow up on vulnerability reports.
+ Manage and renew (SSL) certificates and other critical system components.
+ Maintain contact with external vendors and service providers.
+ Ensure accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
+ Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve your skills.
+ Communicate effectively in both Dutch and English.
**Requirements:**
+ 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-availability environment
+ Proven experience with AWS and/or OpenStack platforms.
+ Strong Linux system administration skills.
+ Familiarity with DevOps tools and version control (GitHub (GHA), Octopus deploy, Atlassian suite, Terraform, Ansible).
+ Experience with system and network security, vulnerability management.
+ Excellent documentation and communication skills.
+ Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
+ Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently and in a team.
+ Knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployment automation.
**_Please note this is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week in our Harlem office._**

Responsibilities
- Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions that leverage Azure AI and OpenAI technologies and services. Oversee the implementation process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Develop automated processes for classification, validation, and generating text suggestions using Azure AI.
- Integrate AI solutions into existing systems to optimize communication and data processing.
- Establish and maintain a CI/CD pipeline for continuous integration and delivery using Azure DevOps.

Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, covering solution design, implementation, and management in a cloud environment.
- At least 2-3 years of experience with AI/Gen-AI technologies, specifically with Azure AI and Azure OpenAI services.
- Extensive experience in architecting, deploying, and managing solutions using Azure AI and Azure OpenAI services.
- Deep understanding of Azure architecture, services, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and automated text generation.
- Expertise in designing serverless architectures and integrating AI-driven automation solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and best practices in cloud environments.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or other relevant Azure certifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; proficient at engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
