**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking a senior energy technical lead to be part of a team enabling the growth and delivery of our energy transition portfolio in the Netherlands with a focus on the following sub markets: Grid modernisation, energy generation and storage across the full project lifecycle.
As Technical lead, you will lead Energy projects, organise and supervise technical delivery, ensure technical excellence including skills and capabilities development and be a growth leader and advocate of AECOM Netherlands through trusted relationships with existing and new energy clients.

+ Creating strategic plans for Continuous Improvement (MPS), supporting and helping the organization through their Continuous Improvement journey by means of Lean or Six Sigma methodology and connecting and aligning with Global COE's
+ Leading for Customer Feedback for the department. Ensuring proper mechanisms are in place to gather, collect, analyze and communicate Customer Feedback followed by the appropriate actions
+ Coaching and guiding specific Subject Matter Expert groups x-department
+ Providing presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control, performing cost and benefit analyses
+ Communicating with broad audience on various levels in the organization, cooperating with internal teams, customers, regions, COE's and operating units
+ Being a self-starter and as individual contributor you have the responsibility to deliver and/or manage projects assigned to you and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's or master's degree
+ 5+ years' experience in customer care/service, supply chain, order management or logistics
+ Fluent in English language in word and writing
+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels
+ Strategic thinking and planning skills to optimize business processes and identify growth opportunities
+ Strong sense of responsibility, high flexibility, and dedication, able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment and effectively deal with stress
+ Hands-on mentality combined with strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to simplify complicated concepts, expertise in problem solving techniques to efficiently drive process improvements (Lean Sigma)
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and/or SAP.

**Job Description**
Are you interested in how large-scale buildings and infrastructure projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered? As a **Project Management Intern** in AECOM Netherlands' **Buildings & Places** team, you'll get hands-on experience supporting multidisciplinary teams on real projects-from early design through execution.
You'll work alongside civil engineers, architects, planners, and consultants on a wide range of building and infrastructure developments, helping keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.
**What You'll Do**
As a Project Management Intern, your tasks may include:
+ Supporting project managers with planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
+ Preparing meeting minutes, reports, presentations, and client communications
+ Assisting with risk management, design coordination, and internal workflows
+ Helping track project budgets, contract status, and document control
+ Participating in team meetings with architects, engineers, and stakeholders
+ Supporting tender and procurement processes
+ Visiting project sites to observe construction or coordination efforts
+ Contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing efforts

**Qualifications**
**You're a Good Fit If You.**
+ Are in the final year of a study program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
+ Are curious about how complex building and infrastructure projects are delivered
+ Are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in teams
+ Have strong written and spoken English skills (Dutch is a plus)
+ Are eager to learn project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, BIM 360, or similar)
+ Have a proactive attitude and want to take initiative
