De facility supervisor / facility superintendent is verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud en technische werking van alle systemen specifiek voor de primaire energievoorziening (hoogspanning- en laagspanning).
Omschrijving vacature
Je zorgt voor het preventief en correct onderhoud van deze installatie, waarbij de betrouwbaarheid en beschikbaarheid van de dienstverlening zeer belangrijk is. Dagelijks heb je contact met onze maincontractor over het onderhoud en coördineert lopende projecten die van invloed zijn op het dagelijks technisch beheer. Je bent onderdeel van Operations Nederland, welke bestaat uit een dynamisch team dat zich inzet voor kwaliteit, succes en hoge mate van klanttevredenheid. Er wordt van je verwacht dat je zelfstandig kunt werken en initiatief toont bij het oplossen van problemen. Vanuit deze functie zijn er veel mogelijkheden tot verbreding en verdieping, waardoor er altijd mogelijkheden zijn om nieuwe verantwoordelijkheden op te pakken en je verder te ontwikkelen.
Werkzaamheden
- Je houdt toezicht op health & safety regelgeving en neemt de verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering en vaststelling van veilige (werk-)processen
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het laten uitvoeren van preventief en correctief onderhoud
- Je reageert op storingen via het incident managementproces en zorgt voor een snelle oplossing en afhandeling
- Je stuurt specialistische onderaannemers aan voor de uitoefening van hun onderhoudstaken zoals gepland door het geautomatiseerde maintenance management systeem
- Je helpt klanten bij het beantwoorden van al hun technische vragen en levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan bij het opleveren van rapportages
- Je werkt in projecten en maakt evaluatieverslagen, je kunt dit initiëren en/of wijzigingen om de beschikbaarheid en continuïteit te verbeteren
- Je bent in staat om de werking van alle elektrische en mechanische installaties op de plant snel te begrijpen en te doorgronden
Wie zoeken wij
- Afgeronde opleiding MBO 4 / HBO Maritiem Officier / Scheepswerktuigkundige / Machinist / Stuurman
- Werkervaring als engineer / machinist op een schip, bekend met onderhoud aan een schip (en sleutelen)
- Bereid om in 5-ploegendienst te werken
- Communicatief vaardig, zelfstandig kunnen werken
- In het bezit van een rijbewijs

THE POSITION
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside the kitchen team, oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and support the training and development of kitchen staff.
Our hotel has 438 rooms, breakfast is included for every guest, we daily serve group lunches and dinners, we have a restaurant for 60 covers. The ideal candidate is a great organizer, works in a fast pace, is hands-on, and is a real team player.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cover kitchen shifts where needed, preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner
Monitor food quality, freshness and hygiene standards (HACCP)
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Daily ordering of supplies with different suppliers
Prepare the schedule for the kitchen & stewarding team
Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth running of the kitchen
Attending departmental meetings to align with hotel operations

**POSITION SUMMARY**
Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key. Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements. Enter Marriott Rewards information. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing. Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists. Complete cashier and closing reports. Supply guests with directions and property information. Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary. Follow up to ensure requests have been met. Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges. Balance and drop receipts. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift. Obtain manual authorizations and follow all Accounting procedures. Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.
Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Develop/maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns. Follow company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Ensure adherence to quality standards. Enter and locate information using computers/POS systems. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

**Main responsibilities:**
+ Welcoming and helping guests in all of our venues.
+ Showing guests our Whatever/Whenever service while they are with us, and connect with them to be able to personalize that service, creating memorable experiences.
+ Making sure everything sparkles, we all enjoy a clean environment
+ Supervise the performance of room attendants and general cleaning and take appropriate actions
+ Inspect guest rooms, guest areas and talent areas and assess compliance with all standards as they relate to cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security
+ Communicate throughout the day with the Room Attendants and assign work as needed
+ Verifying room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
+ You will be on rotating shifts (morning, evening, night and weekend shifts)
+ Ensuring you are well prepared for the shift ahead of you, as well as your colleagues after you. Mise en Place will be your life saver.
+ You will be working in a fast paced environment, under pressure, with loud music. Gotta love it.
