Wil jij als Toegepaste psychologie student nu al het verschil maken in het leven van kinderen met een extra zorgbehoefte?

Tamarinde is een coöperatie voor studenten zoals jij, die een studie in de zorg volgen. Wij verbinden gemotiveerde studenten aan zorginstellingen in heel Nederland. Zo doe jij onmisbare praktijkervaring op en draag je direct bij aan de zorg voor de kinderen op de locaties. Voor een SBSO locatie (de Bloeiwijzer) in Amstelveen, zoeken we een nieuwe collega die staat te popelen om te leren en te groeien

Waarom jij nu al aan de slag wilt

Deze bijbaan is de perfecte kans om jouw theoretische kennis toe te passen in een dynamische en leerzame omgeving. Je werkt met kinderen tussen de 4 en 12 jaar met uiteenlopende zorgvragen, zoals autisme en ADHD. Hierdoor ontwikkel je niet alleen je professionele vaardigheden, maar leer je ook omgaan met de hectiek van een grote locatie met drie groepen. Je wordt onderdeel van een hecht team dat elke dag samen puzzelt om de beste zorg te bieden. En dat alles terwijl je een waardevol netwerk opbouwt en een mooi salaris verdient van €20 per uur.

Wat jij als student hier kunt leren

Op deze locatie krijg je de kans om je te ontwikkelen op een manier die geen studieboek je kan bieden. Je wordt volledig opgenomen in het team en draait mee in alle dagelijkse werkzaamheden.

• Verdiep je kennis in de praktijk: Werk met kinderen met diverse zorgvragen, zoals autisme en ADHD. Leer hoe je de dag structureert en de-escalerend te werk gaat om een veilige en voorspelbare omgeving te creëren voor de cliënten van de locatie.
• Ontwikkel je communicatieve vaardigheden: Voer dagelijks overdrachtsgesprekken met ouders. Je leert om op een professionele en heldere manier te sparren over de ontwikkeling en doelen van een kind, en hoe je deze inzichten meeneemt in je begeleiding.
• Versterk je teamwork en overzicht: Op een locatie met drie groepen is samenwerking cruciaal. Je leert het overzicht te bewaren, effectief te communiceren met je collega's en elkaar op te zoeken en te ondersteunen op drukke momenten.
• Bouw aan je veerkracht: Je leert omgaan met frustratie en soms heftige emoties van kinderen. Je ontwikkelt de vaardigheid om gedrag niet persoonlijk te nemen, stevig in je schoenen te staan en rust te bewaren.

Zo verbeteren we samen de zorg

Samen met je collega's zorg je voor een stabiele en stimulerende omgeving voor de kinderen. De dag begint met een voorbespreking waarin jullie als team de groepen samenstellen en de dagplanning maken. Hierbij wordt gekeken naar welke kinderen goed bij elkaar passen en wie van elkaar kan leren. Jouw inbreng en observaties zijn hierin waardevol. Door duidelijkheid en structuur te bieden, help je de kinderen om te gaan met hun uitdagingen en draag je bij aan hun welzijn en ontwikkeling. Jouw initiatief en frisse blik worden enorm gewaardeerd.

Dit breng je mee (belangrijk)

Je volgt een van de volgende hbo-opleidingen en zit minimaal in je derde studiejaar, met alle studiepunten van het tweede jaar behaald:

• Social Work (specialisatie Jeugd)
• Pedagogiek

• Toegepaste Psychologie

• Ervaring is niet nodig. We zoeken vooral iemand met een nieuwsgierige en proactieve houding die niet bang is om vragen te stellen en van aanpakken weet.

• Je bent veerkrachtig, staat open voor feedback en durft duidelijk en assertief te zijn in je communicatie naar de kinderen.
• Je bent voor een langere periode beschikbaar voor minimaal twee diensten per week. Tijdens tentamenperiodes is er flexibiliteit mogelijk, en we verwachten dat je ook in vakanties beschikbaar bent.
• Je bent bereid om ondersteunende taken uit te voeren waar dat nodig is, hoewel de kinderen grotendeels zelfredzaam zijn.
• Woont op 30/45 minuten afstand van de locatie
