A global, research-driven biopharmaceutical company that develops and delivers innovative prescription medicines, vaccines, biologic therapies, and animal health solutions to prevent and treat key diseases in humans and animals.

Role Description
The Mechanical Engineer supports manufacturing operations by providing technical expertise for equipment maintenance, repairs, and systems engineering. The role operates under guidance and direction.

Responsibilities

  • Technical review of engineering documents created by suppliers and/or the engineering team
  • Management of project documents in the document control system Meridian
  • Creating and modifying AutoCAD drawings based on input from discipline engineers
  • Compiling project documentation (maintenance and user manuals)
  • Communication with maintenance departments for the handover of project documents
  • Identifying discrepancies or issues in technical drawings

Requirements

  • Minimum MBO Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM
  • 5 years of experience within a project environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry
  • Knowledge of Meridian or similar systems is a huge plus
  • Sufficiently stress-resistant to perform within a fast-paced and growing in-house engineering and production organization
